Student Initiative Committee The Construction Institute Student Initiatives are designed to help attract and educate the future workforce of the construction industry. Funded by proceeds from the Golf Classic, the Institute participates at the high school level by supporting ACE Mentoring program and by participating in the AGC Career Days. A CI "Student Chapter" has been established at the University of Hartford working with students in the Engineering and Architectural programs. The eventual goal is to place chapters at other regional colleges and universities. The Student InitiativesCommittee meets for periodic planning sessions at the Construction Institute at 260 Girard Avenue, Hartford, CT, on the University of Hartford’s Asylum Avenue Campus.
