I-95 Corridor Regional Construction Forecast
Outlook for Southern Connecticut Including New Haven and Fairfield Counties
Part of CI's Regional Construction Forecast Series

"Positioning for the Future... What's Happening Next and Why?"

Thursday, March 25, 2010
8:30 - 11:00 a.m. ● Registration 7:45 a.m.

Housatonic Community College, Bridgeport, CT
Beacon Hall, Room 214 ABC

This Regional Outlook will highlight on-going and future projects that are being developed along the I-95 corridor, as well as the economic and business trends that are influencing them. The bank bailout is complete and federal stimulus funds are slowly making their way into the State. Now that the worst of the economic downturn may be behind us, how are development plans from New Haven to Westchester County changing? This program will offer insight into what projects are moving forward and what market dynamics are making them possible.

We'll discuss the One Coast One Future economic development plan recently completed for the region, and learn what it suggests for future investment. Panelists from public and private sectors will describe how creative developers are finding money, and what municipalities are doing differently to attract development.

Attendees will leave with:
Exposure to key development projects happening in the region
Insight into what projects are happening, and what's making them possible
An understanding of regional development plans impacting future work
Awareness of new strategies for financing and development
Ideas for how to position their businesses to capture future projects
