Today’s fast-paced market requires a multi-disciplined, multi-phased approach to quality assurance/quality control in order to avoid deficiencies in construction documents.
Attendees will learn how to:
- use the latest tools and techniques to maintain high quality documentation
- see how each team member effects the quality of a project
- identify & mitigate potential change orders
- integrate a quality checking process into production tasks
- organize effective document development and management systems
- effectively use mock-ups in the field
Kurt Lavaway is an architect at the S/L/A/M Collaborative overseeing the production of design development and construction documents. He is an associate member of the AIA.
