The Construction Institute at the University of Hartford is proud to present Joseph P Greil with its Distinguished Service Award in recognition for his dedicated and outstanding service to the Institute.

Joe will be retiring in June as Director of Pratt & Whitney's Facilities & Services, Engineering and Projects. With Pratt, he has been deeply involved in over 2 million square feet of major demolition, environmental remediation and major construction projects, including interface with the multi-billion dollar Rentschler Field Development project.
Joe has been extremely active as a member of the Construction Institute’s Board of Directors for the past several years. He has been involved with the Facilities Management Council and has been a panelist for a number of major programs. Most recently has been instrumental in negotiating an exclusive arrangement with United Technologies Corporation to offer a number of the Institute’s Professional Development Workshops to be delivered on site to UTC employees.
The Construction Institute's 32nd Annual Membership and Awards Dinner takes place at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT on Thursday, June 14, 2007. The evening begins with cocktails and networking at 5:30 PM with Dinner and Awards following at 7 PM.

Other honorees at the event will be R.D. 'Bob' Scinto who will receive the Institute's Distinguished Service Award and Charles H. Condon of the University of Hartford who will be presented with a Special Lifetime Recognition Award.
