Construction Team Communication Essentials
In the Construction Industry, a high level of team communication is required.
Construction team members depend upon each other to get the job done on time and on budget. If team members do not clearly communicate, then the construction job can be delayed and deliverables may fall through the cracks resulting in an unhappy client. According to the Society of Human Resource Management “Having a written policy on the methods workers should use to communicate—one that addresses what is appropriate in what circumstances—is vital.” The problem is that Communication Standards and Expectation can often be an afterthought costing Construction companies money in change orders, rework and lawsuits. In this session, communication best practices will be discussed in relation to email, phone, text, in person and video. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made 10 business days prior to an event for a refund. If amount is outstanding, the entire amount will still be due the Construction Institute. Substitutions may be made before the start date of any event. Events may be rescheduled due to speaker conflict or severe weather. We reserve the right to cancel due to insufficient enrollment, in which case event fees will be refunded in full. Thank you for your consideration.

Recording and Photographic Release
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, Construction Institute events and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, video recordings, electronic reproductions, and audio recordings of such events and activities by the Construction Institute. No other recording is allowed.
