Are You Ready for Spring?
I am happy to return to walking at dawn in Elizabeth Park. It's light enough and warm enough for me to be out before 6:00 am. The pictures above are from my walk this morning. The moon and the sun were rising almost in tandem. The flowering trees and the daffodils were showing off in the bright sunlight. The sounds of many birds filled the air. What a pleasure!
Spring is fickle. Mark Twain was quoted as saying. “In the spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours.” It's the season when you may need still need a winter coat in the morning but by afternoon be wishing you were wearing short sleeves. And don't forget your umbrella.

We have assembled a stellar panel to discuss these and other issues affecting our state and our industry. Join us on May 13th for a virtual discussion hosted by the Institute's Fairfield County Council.
Frederick Treyz, Ph.D., CEO and Chief Economist, Regional Economic Models, Inc. (REMI) will moderate the discussion. Joining him will be:
