Learning Objectives
- Learn about pre-construction services and value engineering, budgeting, scheduling, and contracting methods.
- Learn about contract documents, change order management, and project controls in budgeting and scheduling.
- Learn about various project delivery methods, project closeout and identifying questionable pricing and change orders.
- Learn about internal business needs and considerations when managing projects: stakeholder management, risk management, communication management, and fiduciary duties.

Professionally, Mark started his career serving in the United States Air Force where he was the Owner’s Representative for the Air Force on their construction and infrastructure projects across the globe.

Construction Institute Project Management workshops are applicable towards prerequisite hours in PMI®'s Project Management Professionals (PMP®) program. Construction Institute is an AIA Registered Provider and a CCM Recertification Point Provider. Course attendees are eligible to receive 0.4 Continuing Education Units, 4 CCM Renewal Points, and/or 4 AIA Continuing Education Learning Units, verified through certificates of attendance, which are sent to participants after completion of workshop and assessment. Those wishing to receive AIA Continuing Education Learning Units and/or CCM Renewal Points should check in at the sign-in desk and fill out the appropriate attendance form(s) to receive credit.
