Self-Efficacy- Enabler or Deterrent
Bandura’s theory on self-efficacy determines how an individual’s belief influences behaviors. Self- efficacy theory links psychological principles of human thoughts to confidence, motivation, and behaviors; and is a determinant of individuals’ career trajectory. Beliefs are influential in stimulating positive or negative actions. “Whether you think you can, or you think you can't--you're right.” - Henry Ford. In this workshop, we will explore the concept of self-efficacy and discuss strategies to navigate career challenges. People from all areas and levels of the organization can gain a great deal from examining the impact of self-efficacy on personal and professional development.
